Happy 28th Anniversary!

I am the luckiest man in the world to have a life partner who completes me in so many ways.  When I need a friend, you are there for me.  When I need advice, you listen first then do your best to speak from your heart to my highest ideals.  When I need some space (for drinking beer, using power tools, listening to the Grateful Dead, etc) you leave me alone.  When I fall down or change jobs again or gain a few pounds or whatever...you are supportive (but you don't let me off lightly).

We've discovered so many things together--ballroom dancing, Keith Urban, eating cheese, Clam Pudding Pond, Tucker, the Sierras and the Rockies, grilled fish, skiing, bluegrass and country music, eating salads, kettlebells,  The Wire, not skiing, the streets of Paris, the joys of hormone replacement therapy, the reefs of Belize, growing flowers in our yard...the list is very, very long.

And our wonderful sons, Jeff and Lucas, have done so well in their lives.  We've raised them to be independent and strong and self-sufficient.  And they even call us occasionally ;-)  We can be proud of both of them and of the job we did raising them.  

Whatever turns life takes us on ahead, I know that I would only want to be riding along with you.  Together we are way more than the sum of our parts.  I love you
